Hello all! Happy Monday - I can't believe we are almost done with January! Seems crazy to me how fast time flies. This week we are talking all about your house! Your space, your humble abode, your getaway, your home! I definitely have a shopping problem when it comes to buying decor for my bedroom, living room, and bathroom so I wanted to share my top 5 must have items for your home. Here we go!
1. Simple and bright succulent
I love putting these next to the sinks in my bathroom and kitchen and then also having one on my nightstand! I worked for an interior designer this past summer and she would always put these cute little guys on top of a stack of books and it just looks amazing!
2. The Best Smelling Candle. Like ever.
Sooo you guys this candle literally smells so good. I love the spearmint smell which I honestly thought might be kind of odd at first but it makes any room smell so fresh, clean, and crisp. There is limited stock available on these!! (Discount code: newyear)
3. Rugs, rugs, and more rugs
You GUYS - how cute is this rug!! I seriously have a problem with rugs but the best part about them is they can change up a room in a matter of seconds. I always get a weird itch to change my room around, or freshen up the bathroom and the main way I do it is through rugs. They hold so much power in a room - plus this one is only $20 you can't beat that.
4. Spicy spice
I actually stole this from my Mom, lol I know I'm awful. But, she got this as part of her Christmas present and it is just too adorable. I would recommend getting 2 of them though because it doesn't hold as much as I wished. Nonetheless, it looks pristine on your counter or in your cabinet.
5. The only thing you need on your wall
I'm literally obsessed with this wall art piece. Wall art - similar to my rug theory - is another extremely easy way to change up your space and provide a new feel. This one is from Target but I also find great pieces at Home Goods, Marshalls, and TJMaxx.
Happy shopping everyone & I hope you have a wonderful week! What are your must have items in your home?
